Each of our 3 partners, Cecil Nazareth, Clem Nazareth, and Chris Nazareth are both Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and Chartered Accountants (India). They are among the few to earn both domestic and international accounting designations. Decades ago, the brothers began their accounting careers abroad and have prospered for decades in the USA. IFRS Partners has over 100 years of combined experience in serving international companies, and their accounting firms. 

Cecil K. Nazareth, CPA, ACA, MBA

As managing partner of IFRS Partners, Cecil K. Nazareth brings his unique expertise to your CPA firm and international clients: Cecil earned his Chartered Accountant (ACA, India) in 1982, and then his CPA designation in 1986. He has accounting experience in India, Dubai, and now in many other countries.

Cecil also brings his experience with Ernst & Young (Audit Supervisor), the Securities and Exchange Commission (Technical Manager, Peer Review), and the AICPA (Director of Internal Audit and Organization Strategy) to your organization.

In 2007, Cecil was asked to lead AICPA’s educational subsidiary, CPA2BIZ, as Senior Director of Corporate Development and Strategy. In addition to many programs tailored to CPA firms, Cecil became certified by the AICPA to teach IFRS courses. In fact, he was instrumental in the design, development, and launch of IFRS.com, AICPA’s premier web resource on International Finance Reporting Standards.

Cecil is accompanying the current Chairman of AICPA to India. They will both deliver the Keynote address to India’s largest accounting organization, the Indian Chartered Accountants Institute (ICAI). In February 2009, Cecil was invited to conduct an IFRS technical seminar for the ICAI. Cecil will be teaching a full-day course on IFRS to the Bombay Stock Exchange in July 2009.

Cecil Nazareth’s work experience as a CPA and a Chartered Accountant is an extremely rare combination in the training and consulting world. He has directly worked on financial statements in GAAP and IFRS. More importantly, Cecil has been personally involved in the strategy and deployment of IFRS conversion projects.
